Bone Runner is a game about outrunning death, not about harvesting your data. Our approach to privacy is stark and simple: we take nothing from you. Every interaction with this game begins and ends inside your own browser.

What We Know About You

Nothing. Bone Runner has no server-side component that receives player data. We do not know who you are, where you are playing from, how long you play, or what your score is. The skeleton runs in silence, and so do we.

Local Storage

To persist your record score between visits, Bone Runner writes a single numeric value to your browser's local storage under this page's origin. This data is invisible to us — it exists solely on your device. If you wish to erase it, opening your browser's developer tools and clearing site data for this origin is all it takes.

Cookies & Tracking

Bone Runner plants no cookies in your browser. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no retargeting mechanisms, and no session tracking. We have no way to follow your journey across the web and no interest in doing so.

Fonts

The Cinzel and Lato typefaces used throughout Bone Runner are loaded from Google Fonts, a third-party content delivery network. When your browser fetches these files it contacts Google's servers and standard web logging may capture your IP address. This process is handled entirely by Google under their own privacy terms. We receive nothing from this transaction.

Age Considerations

Bone Runner uses gothic imagery and contains stylised bones and undead characters. While we do not restrict it by age, parental discretion is welcome. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, there are no special child-privacy obligations we need to observe — but we take the broader spirit of those protections seriously.

Future Changes

Should anything in this policy change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the revised text here. We will not begin collecting personal data without updating this document to say so clearly.
